Check Tyre Pressures: 

To maximize car tyre life, safety, and fuel efficiency, check pressures monthly (including the spare) when cold.

Aaiming for manufacturer-recommended levels - these can found on either on the driver/passenger door pillar or fuel cap. 

 We can do this for you - its free - and it takes two minutes!

Check Tread Depth: 

Use a tread depth gauge or the "20p test"—if the outer rim of a 20p coin is visible when inserted into the groove, the tyre may be below the 1.6mm legal limit.

Visual Inspection:

Regularly look for cracks, cuts, bulges, or embedded stones, especially if you have driven over potholes or hit kerbs.

Rotate and Balance: 

Rotate tyres to ensure even wear across all four positions. Ensure wheels are balanced and aligned to prevent vibrations and rapid, uneven wear.

Drive Smoothly: 

Avoid sharp braking, rapid acceleration, and excessive speeds, which accelerate tyre wear.

Check the Spare: 

Don't forget to check the pressure of your spare tyre, if you have one.
